Have you ever struggled with doing it all, only to feel like NOTHING is getting your best?

In 2016 I was exactly where you are. I was juggling so many different plates, and without fail, they were constantly falling to the ground and shattering. I’d pick them up and glue the pieces back together, but at the end of the day, I was left with just that, messy pieces of each area of my life. Nothing fit together. From my career to my family and back again, I was overwhelmed and failing. Oh, and self care? I didn’t even have time to think about what that would look like. I was miserable.

Enter in the four hour work week…

Enter in a book that forever changed my life. I knew it was possible to have it all, but I had no idea what that looked like in real life, for a real mom.

That month I started my entrepreneurial journey, and the rest was sunshine and rainbows.

Just kidding, sunshine and rainbows are for Disney movies, not real life.

Real life is more like that Lifetime movie where the heroin keeps making the same dumb mistakes over and over until it finally clicks, then just as her life is getting back on track…BOOM… a huge plot twist is announced. Without going into detail, that’s the story of my life after I began my search for more.

From long hours creating content and mentors that up and quit seemingly overnight to miscarriages and church drama that brought demons of my past back up to surface whom I thought I had forever buried, we’ve gone through SO MANY seasons in the last 7 years! In the midst of all of this, we also decided to homeschool, which as most of you know, comes with it’s own struggles and learning curves.

Life Lessons

I'm forever grateful for all of the ups and down. Many of the life lessons I carry with me today would not have been shown to me had my entrepreneurial journey indeed been rainbows and sunshine. These are the lessons I hope to share with you. It’s been a long journey, and although I’m forever a student learning to grow and evolve into my next level of self, I HAVE learned to successfully juggle “it all”… 99% of the time. As for the other 1%? Well…I’m a hot mess just like very other homeschool mom out there. Cue: “We are family”

If you’re still here, you get my quirky sense of humor, and we can be friends. Looking for someone who takes themselves a little more serious and is a little more polished? "Not I said the little red hen" bahaha sorry not sorry!

My goal is simply to inspire you in a couple areas that I have become knowledgeable in through a whole lot of trial and error; Homeschooling and Running an Online Business.

I enjoy sharing my experiences in hope that you can learn from my mistakes and get from point A to point B with a few less bumps and bruises than I incurred. It’s a lot easier to learn from someone who’s already successfully gotten to where you want to go than it is to start from ground 0 and do it completely on your own.

What you can expect from me...

ADVICE FROM MY OWN EXPERIENCES

As I said earlier, I’ve had a lot of ups and downs over the last decade plus. I’ve learned a lot about what works in the online business world, I've had the privilege of helping several ministries navigate how to use social media in a way that brings more traffic to their programs, and I've loved helping homeschool moms thrive in the area of education.

Some of these I’ve learned the hard way, but regardless it’s information I wish someone would’ve shared with me early on. The areas I’ve grown confident in include, but are not limited to:

* Time management

* Positive, Biblical Parenting

* Ministry Marketing

* Old School Social Marketing vs New School Social Marketing

* Branding

* Attraction Marketing

* Child Led Learning

*Curriculum Development

* Homeschool Scheduling

* Making money while homeschooling

* Creating lead magnets and freebie funnels

* Ministry resource creation (bus ministry fliers, youth group devotionals, mission conference activity packs, etc.)

* Systems For moms who want to Work Smarter NOT Harder

SO MUCH FUN!!!!

Let me help you put the joy back into your homeschool, your business, your ministry, and ultimately your life! I hope to inspire you to create your own themed days, fun printables that you can use with your own kids (and possibly share with other moms) and fun filled experiences for the whole family.

Three words I want to leave you with if you’re still with me and are wearing all the hats like I am.

God

Everything else is secondary to keeping your relationship with Him strong. Don't get so busy that you forfeit your quiet time with Him. You can learn more about journaling and devotions by clicking the corresponding links.

Simple

Whatever your next phase is, keep it simple. Focus on one task at a time. Finish that task and move on to the next. Keeping it simple can also make you money, and money pays for all the cool field trips and homeschool gadgets that your heart can dream of if that's something you're interested in.

Collaborate

Learn from those of us who have already done it. You can do it all, but you can’t do it all at once and you can’t (or rather shouldn’t) do it all alone. Listen to your body and don’t be afraid to ask for help. From online tutors and curriculum choices to planners and ring lights, there are a ton of resources to make your journey an enjoyable one.

Let's Summarize

In case you skipped through everything in the middle and scrolled to the end to see if this blog is worth your time (I’ve done this a few times myself, no shade), let me summarize…
In the last 8 years, I’ve replaced my full time income 100% from social media while being a present, homeschool mom and leading several ministries. While I only have one biological child, my home is often filled with the laughter and footsteps of many children of all ages and backgrounds. Our table is open to anyone who needs a little extra help. This philosophy keeps life incredibly busy, but I wouldn’t change it for the world!

We just relocated our family across the country, and are starting brand new with building our local community, so in a lot of respects, I'm in the beginning phases with you! New things can be scary, but also very rewarding. If you too are in a new area, feel free to join our online homeschool community while getting connected to your local community.

I'm married to the best husband a girl could ask for; we love serving Jesus together and for almost a decade now have helped run the children and teen departments at our local church. If we're not at a church event, you can either find us on the road to our next adventure or cuddled up on the couch watching some marvel movie. Or… you can find me shopping while he is home watching sports haha Just keeping it 100 with y’all.

Hi, my name is Tonya and I'm a shopaholic

Squirrel…what was I saying? I easily get distracted by shiny things.

Oh yeah… all that to say, my experiences have not always been positive, but I enjoy teaching from them and helping you avoid some of the mistakes I’ve made in homeschooling, ministry, online business, and everything in between. I’ve been so blessed to be able to speak on having a good work/home balance and am truly grateful for the life God has allowed me to build where I get to have the best of both worlds. If balance is your desire, I can help learn the tools to achieve it!

It’s great to meet you friend.

Let me know how I can add value to your life!
