Most of us have been down the road of not knowing where our next customer is going to come from. If you’re like me, you’ve even fallen into the pit of cold messaging. I’m not anti-cold messaging, I actually replaced my full time income in less than a year by cold messaging, I’m just here to show you a much more efficient way, and one that is actually sustainable.

If you’re new here, I’m Tonya Johnson. I’ve been working full time from social media since 2016 while juggling all things marriage, motherhood, and money. This channel is for all the moms out their wearing all the hats and truly living that #bossmom life.

Ok, so how do I get client after client to raise their hand and hop in MY messenger without me having to hunt them down? 3 simple steps!

1. Make a post on your social media page. Keep it simple.

This is why I love what I do! (Insert short testimonial here). If you’re also looking to (blank) Comment below or DM the word INFO for all the details. 

Of course, that only works if you’re following the FRESH formula. If all your posting are posts like the one above, your audience will end up writing you off as spammy and irrelevant. If you’re not sure what the FRESH formula is, it’s the formula I created for my clients when I kept getting the question of “what am I supposed to post on my social media to get sales if I’m not supposed to be salesy?” It stands for Fresh, Responsive, Emotional, Sales and Helpful. 2. Send a Link

When someone messages you the word INFO, or comments below your post, send them a link to a sales page with whatever it is that you’re offering. Don’t have a sales page? A google doc works just as well. If you’re not sure how to set up a google doc, I have a really valuable freebie for you today walking you through step by step exactly how to set this up. Bonus if you have a video option as well (linked in your sales page). Remember, some people would prefer to read your info while others connect better through video, so having both ups your chances of getting a potential customer to actually take a look at what you’re sending.

3. Follow Up

Follow up in 24-48 hours asking if they have any questions. Use voice messages to build that connection and seal the deal quicker. This usually leads to one out of every 4-5 leads becoming a sale.

Not bad $ for a single social media post.

Keep it simple and honest. Don’t hype your product or business, and there’s no need to pressure people into purchasing.
